[求助]Hedge Wizard怎么翻译
在翻译Too Familiar的时候遇到一个名词Hedge Wizard。网上Google了一下还有专门的进阶,貌似是个法师商人的职业。想咨询大家怎么翻译这个名词比较合适?
Hedge Wizard
Hedge wizards are dabblers in magic; many practice alchemy and serve as local experts in magic items. Hedge wizards make a living by identifying magic items, and selling their spells, knowledge, and minor magical items. Magic items typically include potions and scrolls, but also "mundane" useless items, such as a mug to keep your ale cool. Hedge wizards specialize in miscellaneous magic; generally spells that are neither offensive nor defensive in nature.
As a rule hedge wizards do not adventure, but instead take the safer route and set up shop in towns or cities selling their spells and minor magic items. Other wizards often look down on hedge wizards as giving up their calling and settling for being a mere merchant. But many are grudgingly given some respect for their knowledge and especially their ability to identify magic items.
Wizards are the most likely to become hedge wizards. Sorcerers and bards rarely become hedge wizards.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the hedge wizard prestige class.
Weapon and Armour Proficiency: A hedge wizard does not gain proficiency in any weapons or armour.
Spellcasting: A hedge wizard continues training in magic as well as his field of research. Thus, every other level a hedge wizard gains, the character gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in a spellcasting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that he adds half his level to the level of some other spellcasting class the character has, then determines spells per day, spells known, and caster level accordingly.
Magical Lore: At 1st level, a hedge wizard gains the ability to identify magic items, as the spell, as an extraordinary ability. He may do this once per day per level.
Use Magic Item: A hedge wizard gains insight into the very nature and use of magic items. At 2nd level, the hedge wizard gains access to the use magic item skill as a class skill. In addition, he adds his level to any skill check.
Item Creation: A hedge wizard is always experimenting with new ways of enchanting items. At 4th and 8th level, the hedge wizard gains a bonus item creation feat.
Greater Magical Lore: At 6th level, once per day a hedge wizard can use his knowledge to gain the effects of an analyze dweomer spell. Greater magical lore is an extraordinary ability.
Break Enchantment: At 10th level, once per day a hedge wizard can use his knowledge of magic to dispel magical effects as the break enchantment spell. This is a spell-like ability.
