The Bonny Swans来源一个古诗歌，Loreena自己谱曲填词，在这之前则是作为单曲发行的。后来收录在专辑[b]<The Mask and Mirror>[/b],灵感来自15世纪的西班牙，那里的基督教、犹太教、伊斯兰教等宗教文化都因对宗教的虔诚信仰而共存，本专集表现了多种文化元素，不但有凯尔特音乐元素，还有中东地区民间音乐元素。
