P e3A GJ Ptolus（译为：托勒斯）是Monte Cook最新出版的一套战役设定集，但此战役设定集并非是一个完整世界，而只是围绕着一个城市展开的，这个城市就是Ptolus: city by the spire。在正式出版700页之多的全套战役设定集前，Monte Cook采用了各种方式进行预热和推销。其中之一就是发布以Ptolus为名的漫画，计划共出6册，在此我们汉化的为第一册。希望各位喜欢……此外，要格外感谢Erwin老爷帮忙修图！

;L(mw`#Jn Ptolus是Monte Cook现在正在逐步完成出版的一套新的战役设定集。其实此战役设定集并非是他凭空为了赚钱而设计的。在Ptolus Player's Guide中（Monte Cook把整本书拆分成了9个部分，以PDF的形式出版），他写到：

Ol.p When I wrote in the Third Edition DMG that merchants might hire wizards to use detect thoughts and see invisibility to deter crime, and that bars might post signs forbidding detection spells so the patrons can relax, I was thinking of Ptolus.

Ptolus可以说是一个高魔的城市，在这里，再也不会有因为小小的sleep法术而惊恐的农民了，而守卫也都熟知该如何处理一些常见的法术，比如 web……此外，此城市包含了DND的所有元素，从地城到位面，从魔法到冷兵器，从政治阴谋到神话传说，几乎无所不包。而最令我觉得有趣的是，此设定的所有元素全部基于核心规则。由此可见，Monte Cook对游戏的掌握的确是相当赞，期待未来看到更多的细节了：）
