好消息2 ！Terry Pratchett 受封骑士

在 2009 年英国女王的封赏名单中，作家 Terry Pratchett 列名 Knighthood，以表彰他对文学的贡献。所以以后都要称呼他 Sir Terry Pratchett 了。

Lord是勋爵，地位大致在骑士之上男爵之下。
仔细看了一下，普爷爷受封的是“Knight Bachelor”即“下级勋位爵士”。
sir是受封“下级勋位爵士”的人在姓名前加的头衔。Knight Bachelor是英国最古老的一种骑士，一般授予对社会事业有贡献之人士，下级勋位爵士均可在自己的名字前加上“Sir”的头衔。（比如Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ，1902年受封）

哦也！

特里普拉切特爵士[s:9] 有点小小拗口，但是念起来很有感觉

实际上他在1998年因文学成就获得大英帝国军官勋章（OBE）后就有权力要求大家称呼他为Sir Terry了
