Terry Pratchett, best known for his Discworld series, has been diagnosed with a very rare form of early onset Alzheimer's. Pratchett announced the news Tuesday, but also stated that he expects to meet "most current and, as far as possible, future commitments," which likely includes his latest novel, Nation. Pratchett has written over fifty novels and was the UK's best-selling author during the 1990s (surpassed since by J.K. Rowling). We wish him the best and hope to be reading his stories for years to come.
